InboxReady x Salesforce: The Key to a Stronger Email Deliverability
Good news everyone!
We are proud to announce that Mailgun has entered into an agreement to join Rackspace. We are thrilled to be joining the Rackspace team and we are confident that together we will take Mailgun to the next level.
Mailgun will continue to offer the same great service for our existing and new customers during this transition and beyond.
Business as usual. You do not need to make any changes to your code, account or anything else. Mailgun customers will not have to use Rackspace’s hosting products in order to use Mailgun, but you may want to when you see how awesome the integration is going to be :).
Everything will continue to work as usual, except the quality of service is going to be even higher. In addition, you have the comfort of knowing that a strong public company has got our back.
This announcement comes after working closely with the great folks at Rackspace on the vision and goals for Mailgun and Rackspace. During this time we have been very encouraged by the common vision that we share in making developers’ lives easier and helping them build great things. We also share the common vision of offering “Fanatical Support” (more on that below).
We did not make this decision lightly and we are confident that Mailgun will improve and thrive with the backing of Rackspace. By joining Rackspace, we have many more resources at our disposal to grow Mailgun and execute on our vision of offering the best email service for developers.
For those of you not familiar with Rackspace, they are a leader in managed hosting and recently rose to the forefront of cloud computing with their launch of The Rackspace Open Cloud powered by OpenStack. Mailgun owes a lot to the open source movement and we admire the innovation and leadership Rackspace has shown in this area.
What also differentiates Rackspace is the premium level of support they offer – or as they put it, “Fanatical Support”. This focus on support is something that we have tried to emulate at Mailgun. We believe it is an essential component in building a great business.
In short, Rackspace is the perfect place to nurture and grow Mailgun.
We are staying right here in San Francisco and moving into Rackspace’s awesome office in SOMA. Feel free to stop by and say hi! We are still growing and hiring, so if you want to join a group with the agility and innovation of a startup and the stability of an established company, send us an email.
We owe an immense amount of gratitude to our advisors, investors and, most of all, our customers. Without all of your feedback and support, we could not have made Mailgun what it is today. For that, we cannot thank you enough!
We are here to answer any questions you might have as a customer or otherwise. You can send us an email or ping us on our Olark chat app on our website.
We are excited about the future and look forward building great things together!
Sincerely, Mailgunners
