On January 3, 2018, Mailgun became aware of an incident in which a customer’s API key was compromised and immediately began diagnostics to help determine the cause and the scope of impact.

Yesterday was a bad day for Mailgun customers. We experienced significant delays and duplication of emails from approximately 20:40 pm UTC to 04:40 UTC.
This week we’ve rolled out a significant improvement to our reputation algorithm, affectionately known to the Mailgunners as Razor.
