A few weeks ago, we open sourced Flanker, our MIME parsing and email validation library. We’ve been very happy about the release and the level of interest the Python community has shown. This tweet was typical of what we’ve heard since the release:
Back in June, we released our address validation service Guardpost. Since then many Mailgun customers have been using Guardpost to validate their email addresses and reduce their false signups as well as bounce rates.
Being in the API business has its challenges and maintaining the robustness of the system during peak hours is one of them. That’s why we do lots of stress testing here at Mailgun.
In January we announced that we had partnered up with Meteor to power the email back-end that comes with the Meteor platform. To see an example, check out this event registration form we blogged about recently, but today we want to demo another example of Meteor+Mailgun integration.
